Performed and written by Sheilah Glover
I breathe in, I breathe out
Each moment life begins anew
letting go of fear and doubt
You breathe in and you breathe out
Step into the present
With a love as pure as a newborn child
Time, this is a tiny piece of time
Dressing for the masquerade in the clothing of a body-mind
Space, this is our own created learning place
Lessons coming night and day, still I wake each morning and say
I breathe in, I breathe out
Each moment life begins anew
letting go of fear and doubt
You breathe in and you breathe out
Step into the present
With a love as pure as a newborn child
Don’t try to analyze the dance, just dance it
Don’t try to solve the mystery, just play your part in it
It’s not to barter or compare, it’s not to challenge or forgive
It’s not for crossing any finish lines, this life is meant to simply live
Time, it’s an invention of the mind
Fates upon their spinning wheel
They weave a dream that Time is real
Space, this world can look like such a crazy place
Though the sorrow knows no bounds
A certain peace can still be found, as
I breathe in, I breathe out
I breathe in and I breathe out
